Tools for Entrepreneurs Seminar
(Six-week course to teach you the relationship between liberty, prosperity and entrepreneurialism)

Understanding the value of liberty can change the course of history for the next eight generations or more.  Here are the reasons why:

Much of the world's poverty is the result of the lack of liberty.  The only way people can be prosperous is to be given the opportunity to assume responsibility for themselves.  When this is understood, you will see a great increase in prosperity.  You do not overcome poverty by studying poverty.  Studying poverty just creates more poverty.  To have prosperity, you must study the roots of prosperity, and they are found in the study of liberty.  Learning about liberty and learning to value liberty is the only way that all peoples of the world can have the opportunity to attain prosperity.

Your level of economic prosperity is directly proportional to your level of liberty.  Do you want your children to have at least the same level of economic opportunity that you have?  The scarcity model is currently accepted in much of the world.  It is based upon the false belief that there is a limited amount of resources available, that it is not possible to generate more resources through witty inventions, and that one person with abundance means someone else has to do without.  Continued belief in this lie will not only cause the poverty of other nations to increase, but it will eventually erode the prosperity of the United States as well.

Water, air and food are considered basic necessities.  Even one's access to these necessities is affected by the level of liberty available to the citizens of a nation.  The war refugees all over the world have been displaced and cannot even attain the basic necessities of life.  If you have to struggle just to survive, you do not have the time or energy to pursue your destiny.

Without liberty, your destiny is in jeopardy.  What do you want to do?

• Have a job of your choice or pursue a career?
• Own a business?
• Market your invention?
• Raise your children and live where you choose?
• Come and go where and when you want?
• Shop in grocery stores full of food and other items?

Those who would be free and prosperous will choose to study liberty.  Will your children be able to be entrepreneurs if they want?  It is understood that not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur.  However, if you don't have a choice about what you do with your life, you don't have liberty.

The first two classes of this six-session discovery event will force you to rethink your own philosophy of prosperity, money, economics, entrepreneurialism and life in general.  Prosperity, of course, is far greater than just money.  However, you may not realize that your view of money affects everything you do.  Did you know that your view of money affects where you live, how you live, what you teach your children, and virtually everything that happens to you?  Don't you think you should take the time to study something so important?

After the first two classes, we will focus on helping you apply your new understanding of liberty and prosperity to your business and your life.

Homework (preferably to be done before this series starts):  Read at least half of The Law by Bastiat.  The Law is available for free for reading on the Internet as well as used or from The Foundation for Economic Education, Irvington on Hudson, NY. It costs around $5.  You should have multiple copies in your home.

• Why you need to give a copy of this book to every elected official you can find.
• Why you need to teach this book to your children and then form a Study Group to read and discuss the book.
